This phenomenon is referred to as fretting corrosion or false brinelling, which can lead to a decline in the performance and accuracy of the equipment. IKO Anti-Fretting Grease AF2 demonstrates stable performance over an extended period, even in applications with minute stroke movements where general greases are difficult to use, contributing to improved reliability of the equipment.
