We would like to introduce a case study on the introduction of high-efficiency mixers to reduce electricity costs at a wastewater treatment plant. To reduce electricity costs, it is first necessary to identify areas with high electricity consumption within the wastewater treatment plant. A field survey was conducted to determine where the load is concentrated throughout the entire wastewater treatment process, from the neutralization tank to the sedimentation tank. By replacing the mixers used for aeration in the raw water tank and aeration tank with high-efficiency mixers, we successfully reduced electricity costs.
