Composite core probe (composite probe) high resolution and high sensitivity
Composite core probe
It achieves a good signal-to-noise ratio with high resolution and high sensitivity for flaw detection.
■Overview A probe using a composite transducer as the core device of the transducer. In conventional probes, the echo from grain boundaries (noise echo) is large, resulting in a poor S/N ratio, making ultrasonic testing difficult for certain materials. By using composite core probes, noise reduction can be observed in ultrasonic testing of these materials, and an improvement in the S/N ratio can be expected.

Applications/Examples of results
■Purpose - Ultrasonic flaw detection of materials with significant grain boundary reflection, such as castings. - Ultrasonic flaw detection of materials with significant grain boundary reflection, such as quenched materials. - Ultrasonic flaw detection of materials for which echo resolution and sensitivity are desired. - It is better suited for detecting defects by improving the S/N ratio compared to before.
