**Lecture Overview** The procurement of electricity is an important factor for corporate activities, but the structure of the electricity market is complex, with many aspects to understand, such as PPA (Power Purchase Agreements), self-transmission, renewable energy surcharges, and capacity contributions. In recent times, as the decarbonization boom has settled, more companies are shifting to electricity procurement aimed at cost reduction. However, the medium- to long-term outlook for the supply and demand of renewable energy remains uncertain, making it difficult to decide how much electricity that includes environmental value should be procured to achieve carbon neutrality goals in the medium to long term. This lecture is aimed at electricity procurement personnel in companies who are struggling with the procurement of electricity and its associated environmental value.
