**Lecture Overview** In Japan, changes have been observed, such as the revision of certain regulations, due to the significant number of victims resulting from a battery fire incident in Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture. While it is crucial to prevent such fire incidents from occurring, manufacturing defects or accidental failures in industrial products like batteries can happen with a certain probability, and in the case of lithium-ion batteries, which have self-ignition characteristics, the likelihood of a fire occurring is high.
