The "Stainless Steel Chain SS, SSK, SN" is a stainless steel chain from the environmental resistance series. There are three types: SS specification, SSK specification, and SN specification. The SS specification is a chain that excels in corrosion resistance and heat resistance. Since all the components are made of austenitic stainless steel, its tensile strength is slightly less than 70% of that of standard roller chains, and the maximum allowable tension is reduced by 10%. The SSK specification improves the maximum allowable tension to 1.5 times that of the SS specification by changing the materials of the pins, bushes, and rollers.
