basic information
The Silwatch is a wireless calling and equipment notification system that uses a wristwatch-type receiver. It connects transmitters and receivers to machinery or computers, providing real-time notifications of equipment abnormalities and calling signals to the wristwatch. The notification methods include vibration, buzzer, and LCD display, allowing for diverse notification options that ensure information is received even in noisy environments. With reliable notifications from the wristwatch-type receiver, important information is not missed even during work. The communication system is based on low-power radio, eliminating the need for wiring, with a line-of-sight distance of approximately 100m to 170m (varies by environment). The communication range can be extended by using repeaters. One transmitter-receiver unit can connect to up to 4,000 watches (receivers), and each watch can receive signals from up to 16 transmitters. Notifications can be individually set for each watch based on the transmitter. The system also supports automatic notifications via contact input from equipment and integration with computers through PLC (RS232C) communication, allowing for retrofitting to existing equipment. Additionally, it accommodates not only notifications of equipment abnormalities but also information transmission in emergencies. This notification system can be utilized in a wide range of settings, including factories, logistics warehouses, and equipment maintenance.

Applications/Examples of results
Silwatch is utilized for quickly sharing information on-site, such as notifications of equipment anomalies and calling workers. In factories, it enables the notification of machine stoppages or abnormal signals to wristwatches, allowing only the responsible personnel to be called for rapid recovery responses. Additionally, in line work, it can be used for calling requests for material replenishment or assistance, preventing unnecessary gatherings of personnel and improving work efficiency. In logistics warehouses, it is used for shipment instructions and calling responsible personnel in case of trouble, as well as for notifying patrol personnel of anomalies in equipment maintenance. Furthermore, in facility management, it is used for contacting responsible personnel during trouble occurrences, and in schools and research facilities, it serves as a means for calls and emergency notifications. By allowing direct notifications to the necessary individuals, it contributes to faster responses and reduces labor cost losses.
