In contrast to typical heater wires (like nichrome wire), it is mainly used in applications that take advantage of its properties of "good electrical conductivity and heat resistance." PTC heater: It has the characteristic of a rapid increase in resistance at a specific temperature, which allows it to cut off the current itself (self-temperature control). It is ideal for products where overheating prevention is crucial, such as hair straighteners and clothes dryers.
