basic information
【Lecture Overview】 In response to issues such as the uneven distribution of physicians and medical specialties, as well as the duplication of medical functions in urban areas, it is necessary to maintain an efficient and sustainable medical delivery system. This can be achieved by consolidating medical resources through the reorganization of medical functions and establishing a "high-level medical and human resource development hub" that accumulates advanced medical care and diverse cases. This will attract motivated young physicians from across the country and realize community-based healthcare that provides seamless medical services tailored to patients' conditions. Additionally, collaboration and cooperation with medical education institutions are essential for developing medical personnel and establishing a system for dispatching (circulating) physicians to local areas. As the circumstances surrounding healthcare undergo significant changes, this lecture will detail the objectives and challenges of the "High-Level Medical and Human Resource Development Hub Concept," which aims to be realized through a united effort of government, academia, and the private sector under the banner of "All Hiroshima." 【Lecture Topics】 ■ Why integrate and reorganize hospitals? ■ What is the High-Level Medical and Human Resource Development Hub Concept? ■ Review of the basic plan ■ Establishment of the Hiroshima Prefectural Hospital Organization as a local independent administrative agency ■ What will happen after the relocation of Hiroshima Prefectural Hospital? ■ Efforts toward consensus building and future challenges ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange meeting
