Dried processing of Kamo eggplant, a traditional vegetable from Kyoto. A commercial ingredient with a creamy texture when heated and a fruity sweetness.
This is a commercial dried eggplant made from the traditional vegetable "Kamo Eggplant" produced in Kyotanba, Kyoto Prefecture. The Kyoto vegetable, which has a history of over 300 years, is processed into cubes. The drying process tightens the flesh, resulting in a creamy texture when cooked. It features a fruity sweetness, making it ideal for stews, grilling, and Japanese side dishes. No glucose is used. We are also flexible in accommodating OEM manufacturing, starting from a minimum lot of 10 bags (100g).
