The autonomous following robot STARWALK is a self-driving cart equipped with AI technologies such as spatial recognition, real-time positioning, motion control algorithms, and multi-sensor fusion using wireless technology. It automatically follows a person at low speed as long as the user holds a handheld device. The default following distance is adjustable between 1 to 7 meters. An alert is triggered if the distance exceeds 7 meters, and it will automatically stop if within 1 meter. It performs smart collision detection and avoidance to ensure safe operation. ■ Main Application Scenarios It is suitable for various transportation scenes requiring human-machine collaboration, including factory floor transport, logistics sorting and delivery, warehouse transport, agricultural house transport, large supermarket transport, community and campus transport, and highways. It can serve as a replacement for hand-pushed carts, allowing for single or multiple unit following modes, improving work efficiency by 2 to 5 times.
