We would like to introduce a case where a corporate group with 70 locations solved the challenges of reception handling due to the implementation of free address systems by integrating an iPad reception system with a cloud PBX. ■Challenges Before Implementation: There was a policy to advance free address systems at 11 locations, which was expected to make it difficult to know where employees were located. Traditionally, administrative staff handled reception calls, but this led to interruptions in main payroll and billing processing tasks every time a visitor arrived. ■Solution: By linking Smart at reception with IZUMO PBX, we established a system that allows direct calls to each employee's smartphone through reception operations. We achieved flexible operational settings, such as simultaneous ringing at each location and forwarding to specific IP phones. ■Effects After Implementation: We prevented confusion caused by the free address system in advance. Unnecessary call handling was eliminated, allowing administrative staff to focus on their primary tasks.
