A case where temperatures exceeding 1000°C were achieved under the constraints of vacuum and single-sided heating.

We propose the optimal heating test and configuration for the issue of temperature not rising in a vacuum.

■Customer's Challenges - Heating a metal plate (35×120×0.5) to over 1000°C in a vacuum chamber - There is a constraint that the workpiece can only be heated from one direction ■Heating Experiment Conducted We borrowed a metal plate and conducted a heating experiment using the vacuum atmosphere device in our lab. Considering the conditions and target size, we verified whether it was possible to achieve the target temperature with one near-infrared heat beam. ■Proposed Solution With one near-infrared heat beam, we were able to heat up to 920°C, but we conducted simulations to achieve temperatures above 1000°C. As a result, by using a two-lamp configuration, we were able to exceed 1000°C, and it was decided to adopt this solution. High-temperature heating in a vacuum environment is significantly influenced not only by heater performance but also by heat dissipation, heat transfer, and structural conditions. There is always a cause for the challenge of "not reaching the temperature." Our company visualizes the conditions through heating tests and proposes the optimal heating configuration. We provide consistent support from technical verification to implementation.
