**Lecture Overview** In line with our country's GX strategy and the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050, CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) is positioned as one of the key measures in sectors where emission reductions are challenging, and efforts are underway to establish a framework for its smooth implementation. Currently, under the Carbon Management Subcommittee, two working groups are examining the framework and key issues regarding CCS support measures and CCS business systems. In this lecture, we will organize the policy positioning of CCS in our country, the progress of legal system development, and the main issues in system design, based on the current examination status. We will also explain the direction of discussions aimed at the concretization of the system.
