Drainage recycling device "Waconner S" *Available for rent
Commissioned Regeneration Type Ion Exchange Resin Tower Waconner S
Initial costs and installation space reduced by 90%! Full recycling of wastewater containing heavy metals without a treatment facility.
"Waconner S" is a wastewater treatment device that purifies wastewater containing heavy metals into pure water through an integrated ion exchange resin, without the use of chemicals, wastewater discharge, or sludge, allowing for complete recycling. Since it does not require a wastewater treatment facility, it can achieve over 90% space savings. Moreover, by utilizing a rental contract, initial costs can be further reduced, making it suitable for temporary processing during busy periods. 【Features】 ■ Initial cost reduction through rental usage ■ Installation space of about one tatami mat (approximately 4m²) ■ ON/OFF switching with a one-touch operation; connection involves only hose attachment and detachment ■ Ion exchange resin is regenerated by our company, enabling complete closure of wastewater *For more details, please download the quotation request form and contact us. basic information
**Technical Overview** "Waconer S" is a recycling device that uses ion exchange resin. It employs cation exchange resin that exchanges positively charged ions with H+, and anion exchange resin that exchanges negatively charged ions with OH-. Taking a dilute saltwater solution (NaCl) as an example, the following occurs: (1) Na+ is replaced by H+ in the cation exchange resin (2) Cl- is replaced by OH- in the anion exchange resin (3) The treated water, now consisting of H+ and OH-, becomes H2O (pure water) Utilizing this principle, it is widely used for recycling wash water from plating processes, and wash water from pre-treatment processes in painting, with "no chemicals," "no sludge generation," and "no wastewater." *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Applications/Examples of results
● Treatment of wastewater containing heavy metals (K-A type) This is a wastewater treatment device that removes heavy metal components generated from the water washing process of plating and painting pretreatment using ion exchange resin, treating it to pure water. As a result, the wastewater can be closed-looped and recycled as pure water for washing, eliminating the need for wastewater treatment facilities. ● Examples of delivery results Copper plating, nickel plating, electroless nickel plating Hexavalent chromium plating, hexavalent chromate Trivalent chromium plating, trivalent chromate Alternative chromium plating, alternative chromate Iron phosphate, zinc phosphate, etc. *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Comparison of Initial Costs between Wastewater Treatment Equipment and Waconner In the case of wastewater treatment equipment, a significant initial investment is required due to the purchase of large machinery and extensive installation work. In the case of Waconner, there are fewer necessary ancillary facilities, making installation easier. Additionally, if you enter into a rental agreement for the tower body, you can introduce an alternative to wastewater treatment equipment with a significantly lower initial investment, while also achieving wastewater closure and water conservation. (Wastewater closure and water conservation can also be achieved through purchase.)

Comparison of Required Installation Space for Wastewater Treatment Equipment and Waconner In the case of wastewater treatment equipment, a significant amount of installation space is required for large equipment such as reaction tanks, coagulation tanks, sedimentation tanks, slurry tanks, dewatering machines, and chemical tanks. In the case of Waconner, it is only necessary to secure space for a transfer pump and filter in addition to the Waconner itself to achieve a closed wastewater system.

Company information
Japan Wacon was established in 1971 during a time when pollution issues were gaining attention and the need for wastewater treatment was increasing. Given the background of that era, our main business focused on wastewater treatment facilities for plating factories. Among them, we have had many dealings with so-called "local plating shops," which are difficult for major water treatment companies to serve. We have made various efforts to accommodate limited installation spaces and costs. As a result of these efforts, our long-selling products, such as the commissioned regeneration type ion exchange resin tower "Waconer" and the compact fully automatic filter press "WAP series," were born. Japan Wacon is a comprehensive water treatment equipment manufacturer. Just because we have our own brand of equipment does not mean we will always propose it; rather, we prioritize what type of equipment will satisfy our customers in terms of both performance and cost, and we propose pure water production equipment and wastewater treatment facilities accordingly. We are also focusing on enhancing our standard product lineup of water treatment equipment by leveraging the water treatment technology and design know-how for compact devices that we have cultivated over the years. Moving forward, we will continue to sincerely engage with water treatment technology to provide the best proposals for our customers, strive for technological improvement, and work diligently to support society through manufacturing that centers on water treatment.
