Compared to conventional grinders, the net specific power requirement is about half or less, and the grinding efficiency is high.
This is a device that micro-grinds resin pellets and the like through a cutting action of a rotating disk with radially grooved cutting edges on the surface and a fixed disk of the same shape. The gap between the disks has a structure that gradually narrows from the center to the outer circumference, allowing the raw material supplied from the center of the rotating disk to be cut and ground while swirling, and then discharged at the outer circumference of the disk. This principle enables the micro-grinding of thermoplastic resins with viscoelastic properties, which are difficult to break using impact methods.
