This is the process of screwing a cap-shaped heavy screw cap (approximately 30 kg) into an SUS container.
We have been performing this task with a 6-axis robot for some time, but we were unable to avoid line stoppages due to screw insertion failures. This system has completely re-evaluated the robot hand and developed a mechanical floating mechanism for insertion and a special clamping mechanism.
