The Impulse Winding Tester "IWT-5000A" applies pulse voltages up to 5000V to coils such as inverters and motors, allowing for testing of coil disconnections, shorts, insulation failures, and changes in inductance. By providing narrow (low energy) pulse voltages in the range of 200 to 5000V, the damage inflicted on the tested coil is minimized. It is equipped with an automatic scaling function for measurements and has four types of automatic judgment functions for inspecting insulation failures such as corona discharge.
