basic information
Temposonics provides robust Absolute Displacement Sensors using magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shocks, vibrations, and temperature extremes. This absolute displacement sensor is compact and can fit within hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. It is a non-contact, highly reliable absolute position sensor specially developed through rigorous testing for shocks, vibrations, and temperature for use in vehicle hydraulic cylinders, construction machinery hydraulic cylinders, agricultural machinery hydraulic cylinders, and actuators. This Temposonics displacement sensor functions not only as an absolute position sensor but also as a speed sensor to measure movement speed. Additionally, to accommodate various applications, interfaces such as analog, CANbus, CANopen, and J1939 can be selected. It is fully equipped with EMC measures and complies with standards such as ISO14982, ISO7637−1/2/3, ISO11452-5, and DIN EN50121-3-2 for agricultural machinery, road construction vehicles, and railways. It also meets SIL2 and performance level d requirements.

Company information
Temposonics introduced a non-contact, high-precision, and cost-effective non-contact absolute sensor method to the market in the early 1970s, using the magnetostrictive effect (Weidmann effect) for position measurement, which had previously been dominated by incremental methods. As a leading company in magnetostrictive sensors, we are committed to improving accuracy as position sensors, engaging in research and development, and enhancing quality to meet the needs of the industrial sector. Our sensors are increasingly being adopted not only as linear sensors to replace rotary encoders, linear encoders, and potentiometers but also in various industries such as hydraulics, pneumatics, water pressure, injection molding, welding, printing, textiles, construction machinery, wind power generation, metal processing, as well as in disaster prevention sensors like landslide sensors and bridge sensors. Temposonics will continue to develop further and strive day and night to be of service as a leading company in industrial sensors.
