Extremely easy-to-use temperature reference calibration device.
It is a fixed-point furnace that is robust, easy to transport, and integrates a heater that compensates for the thermal conduction error of the probe with a fixed-point cell. The technology for fixed-point calibration from public calibration institutions is gradually spreading to private organizations. However, conventional fixed-point furnaces are extremely expensive, and implementation may not be possible if the probe is short. Additionally, low-cost fixed-point realization devices with small cell shapes have inferior realization accuracy compared to devices from public institutions. The IsoTower ensures the necessary probe insertion length typically required by standards.

basic information
The key to the new technology, distinct from existing ideas, is a Dewar-style heat siphon that incorporates a slender tube. It ensures that the temperature remains uniform when the metal melts and solidifies inside the cell. The cell is tightly integrated within it, surrounded by high-purity argon, which is then sealed.

Applications/Examples of results
The UK domestic research institution has completed comparative testing (demonstration research) with other public institutions and has started commercial sales of indium, tin, zinc, and aluminum. Development of silver and copper point models is expected to be completed by the end of 2010, with plans for commercialization.

We continue to walk alongside our customers from the perspective of temperature sensing in the development of Japan's industrial sector. The demands for measurement environments, functions, and performance required of temperature sensors are becoming increasingly sophisticated, spanning from steelmaking to electricity, petrochemicals, semiconductors, and even various environmental facilities, processing plants, and the medical field. Currently, we have completed a new building that combines our headquarters and a new factory (in 2004), as well as a raw material production plant and a heater manufacturing plant. With this as a turning point, we aim to expand our offerings of temperature sensors and microheaters that ensure global quality assurance, as well as calibration services, and to take the first step towards developing temperature measurement technologies and sensors that can serve as new sources of information for the future. Continuously conveying temperature accurately from the field to the user is the eternal theme of Yamazato Industries.
