It disconnects immediately during a short circuit, cuts off at the appropriate time during overcurrent, and ignores inrush current, allowing the load to operate safely for a longer duration. Additionally, it complies with UL1604 Class 1, Div 2, Group ABCD, which permits its use in hazardous locations, making it suitable for protecting DC circuits in plant equipment. It is also compliant with UL NEC Class 2 for currents between 0.5-3.8A. Remote ON/OFF operation is possible as an option.
