Power-free passive tap!! [Optical Network Tap] FTAP-2000/FTAP-4000
By installing the FTAP-2000/4000 series 10 Gigabit optical network tap in the I/O section of a high-speed fiber network, it becomes easy to visualize the traffic of monitoring devices such as measurement instruments and analyzers, as well as security devices. This optical fiber tap adopts a slim 1/2U chassis, saving rack space and accommodating up to 8 channels of taps in a 1U high chassis. The power-free optical network tap is equipped with a permanent and passive monitoring port that does not cause disruptions or interfere with other network connections, enabling 24-hour full-duplex monitoring without affecting network traffic. This optical network tap allows for the isolation of monitoring devices from the network, significantly reducing the risk of attacks. Additionally, there is no need to set an IP address for the monitoring devices, and by connecting the monitoring devices to the tap for use as inline devices, it becomes possible to visualize all full-duplex traffic, including Layer 1 and Layer 2 errors.
