KSD-541-HP is a hub-equipped optical converter designed to be installed in semi-outdoor environments where temperature management is insufficient.
This device is a PoE inline power-capable hub with a 4-port powered 10/100Mbps port interface and a 1-port non-powered 10/100TX metal/100FX (SFP) combo interface. It allows for easy Ethernet LAN communication and DC power supply using existing Cat5/Cat5e twisted pair LAN cables. With the introduction of the KSD-541, there is no need for power installation for devices such as IP cameras, wireless APs, VOIP, and RFID. Additionally, by selecting optional SFP modules (optical transmission modules), fiber optic connections from distances of several kilometers to about 100 kilometers can be easily achieved. It operates at 6V to 48V and is designed for outdoor use, functioning in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C. (Note: However, when using PoE (inline power), it requires DC 48V.)
