Among alumina (Al2O3), Asuzak offers four standard grades [AR-99.6, ARW, ARK, AR-4N] and one special alumina grade [AR(B)]. Below are the characteristics and details of each, so please choose according to your application. ◆ AR-99.6 is an alumina with various excellent mechanical, thermal, electrical, magnetic, and chemical properties among fine ceramics. It is the most versatile grade with an alumina purity of over 99.6%. ◆ ARW / ARK are thin alumina products made using the doctor blade method. They are white in color and have a proven track record in applications such as alumina substrates and dummy wafers. ARW has a purity of 99.6%, while ARK has a purity of 96%. This grade can produce thin products with a thickness of about 1 to 2 t at a low cost. ◆ AR-4N is a grade that reduces the alkali metals contained in the bauxite raw material and minimizes heavy metals. ◆ AR(B) Black Alumina is a material that maintains the mechanical properties of alumina while having a low reflectivity. It can suppress surface reflection while maintaining the strength and durability of fine ceramics.
