An optical integrating sphere that can be manufactured up to 2 meters. We offer integrating spheres for total luminous flux measurement for LED lighting modules and FPDs at reasonable prices.
Traditionally, it has been difficult to obtain large-sized optical integrating spheres at a high cost, but now they can be manufactured at a reasonable price. When used in conjunction with our high-sensitivity, high-resolution compact spectrometer, high-precision total luminous flux measurements can be conducted on samples such as lighting modules and backlights. The internal coating features a multi-layer application of barium sulfate with an average reflectance of over 97% in the visible range, making it comparable to conventional products from other manufacturers. A dedicated standard light source, traceable to NIST, is provided according to the size of the integrating sphere, and all components, including self-absorbing light sources and sample mounts, are designed and manufactured domestically. This allows for flexible customization options.

basic information
Recently, the production of lighting and LCD backlights centered around LEDs has been thriving in Japan, but the tools for inspection and measurement have been limited, and their high prices have been a concern for producers. Therefore, our company, a manufacturer of high-sensitivity, high-resolution compact spectrometers, has announced a series of integrating spheres that offer high quality at a reasonable price, with support based in Japan. With this SLM series, we hope to shed new light on the measurement of total luminous flux for large LED modules and are pleased to present it to everyone.
