Author: Masahiro Okuda, Associate Professor, Faculty of International Environmental Engineering, Kitakyushu City University (Ph.D. in Engineering) Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Science and Technology in 1993. Completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University in 1998, earning a Ph.D. in Engineering. Served as a visiting researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1998 and at Carnegie Mellon University in 1999. Became a visiting researcher at Keio University in 2000. Since 2001, he has been an associate professor at the Faculty of International Environmental Engineering, Kitakyushu City University, and has been an associate professor since 2008, continuing to the present. Engaged in research on digital signal processing, multirate signal processing, image coding, and 3D model signal processing. Member of IEEE, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, and the Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers. Ph.D. in Engineering (Keio University, 1998).
