We have developed alumina beads with superior wear resistance and a smaller diameter than conventional alumina balls, thanks to our unique granulation technology. ◆Features◆ - Extremely high wear resistance, making them less likely to break and providing an astonishingly long lifespan (for example, in the grinding of alumina powder, they have several times the wear resistance of commercially available zirconia beads). - Low content of radioactive isotopes such as U and Th, making them ideal for applications that are sensitive to radiation. - No decrease in wear resistance, even when the slurry temperature rises during grinding, allowing for use across a wide temperature range, unlike zirconia beads. - Excellent corrosion resistance to acids and alkalis. - With a density of 2/3 that of zirconia, the filling weight is also reduced to 2/3. - Lower power consumption during grinding, enabling significant energy savings. - Bead sizes available include φ0.1mm, which is the smallest diameter of commercially available alumina beads, as well as φ0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5mm beads. *For other sizes or details, please feel free to contact us.
