Ultra-precision cutting with a variation of less than 10nm using single crystal diamond bits!
We have developed a high-precision elliptical vibration control device suitable for ultra-precision and fine processing, capable of stabilizing the vibration trajectory with an amplitude of approximately 1-2 μm at a high frequency of 39.8 kHz (with a fluctuation of less than 10 nm). We confirmed that it can maintain stable circular vibration with an amplitude of 2.5×2.5 μm p-p for an extended period of three days, with minimal heat generation. We simplified the structure and increased rigidity, and additionally installed an air cooling system that allows cooling air to flow through the vibrator case and cutting edge, suppressing the overall temperature rise, resulting in a compact and lightweight case. This allows for the stable control of practical high-amplitude elliptical vibrations for extended periods with minimal manual adjustments, enabling the handling of elliptical vibration cutting with the same feel as conventional single vibration ultrasonic cutting devices. *For more details, please contact us.
