basic information
By applying ultrasonic vibrations to the workpiece, we assist in the fine hole processing, fine groove processing, shape processing, and cutting processing of hard and brittle materials and difficult-to-machine materials such as fine ceramics, quartz, Pyrex, sapphire, alumina, single crystal silicon, zirconia, cobalt, tantalum, and titanium, which are challenging with conventional processing techniques. The workpiece is fixed to the upper surface of the table using a vacuum suction method, and ultrasonic vibrations are applied in the vertical direction. The effects of reduced processing resistance and chip removal due to ultrasonic vibrations include: - Reduction of chipping - Increased processing speed - Extended tool life These improvements enhance processing quality and efficiency. By mounting the ultrasonic vibration table on existing machines, ultrasonic processing can be performed. *Please consult us for test processing and demo machine rentals.
