basic information
**Lecture Summary** In the numerous industrial products around us, such as televisions, lighting fixtures, electronic devices, automobiles, housing materials, and industrial equipment, plastic materials are widely used. However, because plastic materials are flammable and pose a risk of fire, flame retardants such as halogens are incorporated into plastic materials according to their applications. In recent years, with the growing awareness of environmental issues, there has been a strong demand for the development of new flame retardant materials that are environmentally friendly. This report will introduce a novel flame retardant technology using nanoparticles of nanometer size that is environmentally friendly.
