This device applies internal pressure to various polyethylene pipes under certain conditions and monitors the time until failure accumulatively. Generally, the samples are placed in a constant temperature water tank at room temperature to 95°C, allowing for automatic compensation of pressure drop due to sample expansion, and it is equipped with an automatic control circuit that closes the solenoid valve simultaneously with the failure. Additionally, it is designed to detect small failures such as pinholes.
