A very slim configuration specialized for electromagnetic field analysis. A pre- and post-processor dedicated to the PHOTO-Series, ideal for simple analysis.
【Features】 ○Outstanding cost performance Low price. An annual license (including maintenance fees) can be obtained for a fixed amount each year. ○Exclusive to the PHOTO series Adopts a dialog similar to that of the PHOTO series. Settings for physical properties and other parameters can be smoothly managed from familiar dialogs on both pre- and post-processing sides. ○Streamlined functionality Equipped only with the necessary functions for electromagnetic field analysis. Does not require expensive pre- and post-processors with many advanced features. Ideal for simple analyses. ○Expanded options Currently, the "PHOTO series" also utilizes Femap, a general-purpose finite element method pre-processor from Siemens in the U.S. By effectively using the high functionality of FEMAP and the cost performance of "GRADE" in suitable applications, users can achieve flexible usage on their side. ●For other functions and details, please contact us.

basic information
● I will explain the main features and GUI. 1. User Interface - Parallel movement and rotation using mouse drag, zooming in and out using mouse wheel - Copying figures by pressing [Ctrl]+[C] on the keyboard - Checking operation history via a message screen 2. Data File Interface - Photo-Series primarily uses its own GRD format for data storage, but it is also capable of reading and writing in Femap's neu format. Additionally, it can read CAD data in DXF file format. 3. Pre-data Creation and Editing Functions - The pre-function consists of creation, editing, and deletion functions for geometry data and mesh data. Geometry data includes points, lines, circles, and arc data. Mesh data includes triangular and quadrilateral meshes in 2D, and tetrahedral, hexahedral, and pentahedral meshes in 3D. It can also handle line (rod) elements. 4. Post Functions - The post functions can output contour maps and vector diagrams. It is also possible to save graph functions and graphed data in CSV format.

At Photon, we are developing "electromagnetic field analysis software" that models and simulates products and components utilizing electromagnetic phenomena on a computer. In traditional design and development environments, the process has primarily revolved around trial and error through prototyping based on the experience of engineers and experiments with prototypes. However, conducting experiments using actual prototypes and analyzing the results requires significant time and cost. Moving forward, transitioning from an experimental and prototyping-based approach to an analysis-based design approach will be a crucial challenge for improving productivity, and establishing simulation technology as the core of analysis-based design techniques will be essential. In this context, Photon is developing and providing "analysis software" focusing on electromagnetic fields, as well as heat, vibration, and sound fields. By utilizing Photon's software, efficient development and design of various industrial products can be achieved. In this way, Photon aims to support users in reducing the number of prototypes, lowering development costs, and shortening development periods in their manufacturing environments, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness.
