For small pipes, there are also separate type portable ultrasonic transit flow meters and fixed ultrasonic transit flow meters. High-sensitivity portable ultrasonic Doppler flow meters, simplified ultrasonic Doppler flow meters, and general-purpose ultrasonic Doppler flow meters are available. Easily attachable to the outside of small pipes, the simple and compact integrated sensor requires no construction as it is mounted externally on the piping. Since it does not come into contact with the liquid, there is no pressure loss and no maintenance is needed. It can measure slurry, muddy water, and liquids with air bubbles. The output is standard equipped with 4 to 20 mA and pulse, and settings and calibration can be input via a PC.
