Green Pot refers to our contact-type potentiometers that utilize conductive plastic (conductive resin) resistive elements. The conductive plastic resistive element is an integrally molded component created by compressing and heating refined carbon-based fillers to form the resistance on the surface of the plastic material. It has a sliding surface with flatness close to a mirror finish, and there are versions with a carbon film printed on them. A multi-contact of noble metal alloy is in contact with this sliding track, providing the performance of a precision potentiometer. These products are identified as GreenPot by having the body or label in green.
