It enables counting of frozen foods that cannot achieve counting accuracy with scales. Counting machine for frozen foods and side dishes (cut vegetables).
The DAC900-2 digital area counter for frozen food uses a multi-lane feeder to simultaneously count frozen hamburgers, frozen meatballs, frozen croquettes, frozen nuggets, frozen dough, and more with a CCD line sensor camera. Since it employs a CCD line sensor for counting, counting errors caused by sensor dirt do not occur. Additionally, it features a function to cancel out fragments of the products being counted and corrects for overlapping products, allowing for accurate counting. There is no need for the labor of memorizing sample quantities like with scale-based counters; you simply set the desired count on the LCD screen.

Counting of frozen hamburgers and frozen fried chicken Koshinsha's counting system "Digital Area Counter" can count many types of frozen foods. The frozen food counting machine DAC-900 can count individual items even for products with weight variations that are difficult to measure with scales or optical sensors. As the variety of frozen foods continues to increase, there is a growing demand for counting devices that can flexibly accommodate different shapes and sizes of products. The "Digital Area Counter" is now adopted in many factories.

Counting machine with overlap correction function The counting is done by counting the connections of shadows with a camera. At the same time, it reads the area at high speed and corrects for overlap by setting a threshold that is impossible for a single item. For example, if the area of a single item is normally around 1000, a threshold of around 1500 is set, and if the shadow area exceeds this value, it counts as two items.

Company information
Koshinsha, known for its counting machines and image sorting machines, has been recognized as an A-rank company by the Kyoto City Venture Appraisal Committee. The counting machine "Digital Area Counter" has achieved high-speed and high-precision counting of items ranging from screws and nuts to frozen foods and seeds using its unique camera counting technology. Additionally, we propose new solutions such as multi-line high-speed sorting machines using image processing and systems for volume sorting and cutting using image processing. Koshinsha's counting machine, the Digital Area Counter, won the Grand Prize at the 2023 Kyoto Small and Medium Enterprise Technology Awards.
