The FL-8 series is a radiation thermometer that uses fluoride infrared fibers. It enables low-temperature measurements that could not be achieved with optical fiber methods. It can measure the surface temperature of mirror-like and low-emissivity objects (such as metal rolls), which are difficult to measure with conventional radiation thermometers due to emissivity issues.
