Long-term measurement of tidal currents (flow speed and direction) is possible.
A current velocity and direction meter that measures tidal currents (velocity and direction) over a long period at locations such as sea buoys and ocean observation towers, displaying the data digitally and providing external output. It is equipped with a two-component electromagnetic velocity detection mechanism, a non-contact magnetic direction detection mechanism, and vector calculation functions for these. Additionally, it has no movable or wear parts, making maintenance easy.

Company information
For over 50 years, we have been involved in the development and manufacturing of hydrological, water quality, and oceanographic observation instruments that are committed to field specifications in order to understand water as it is. The DENTAN Group has served as a bridge between people and nature, watching over outdoor water environments. During this time, people have transformed water, which was once abundant and used metaphorically in Japan as if it were flowing freely, into a limited resource. They have realized that this has placed excessive burdens not only on themselves but on all living beings, that is, the natural environment. Now, there is a significant shift in awareness regarding the importance of water resources. To create an environment where people can appreciate nature, the DENTAN Group will continue to do our utmost, albeit with limited power.
