I imagined the double helix structure of DNA and created a model. Except for the engraving of letters and windows, I created it by combining three types of macros without using CAD/CAM at all. One feature is that, since it is managed by macros, I can freely change everything from the thickness of the ribs to the twist angle with just one numerical value. Because the work is thin and long, the central part is prone to breaking, and due to its twisted shape, a fixed support cannot accommodate all angles. By devising the support, it is possible for the support to always be in contact with the workpiece at any angle. I successfully achieved a significant reduction in breakage!
