Measure the micro-torque and angle transmission characteristics of guide wires and catheters without loss!
Protech's "Guide Wire Transmission Characteristics Evaluation Tester" allows for the measurement of minute torque characteristics at the tip of micro guide wires and catheters, which have traditionally been difficult to measure, as well as the angle transmission characteristics of input and output. With the adoption of a full posture air bearing, it is capable of measuring torque below 1mNm, with a measurement resolution of 0.01mNm. Measurement data is displayed in real-time as graphs on a PC screen, and data can also be saved in CSV file format. It is suitable for the automation and data collection of tests. Additionally, through the application of this testing machine, it is also possible to measure the sliding stress of catheters and the breaking characteristics of guide wire tips. There are also various options available, including jigs for connecting guide wires and sensors, measurement templates (vascular models) compliant with ASTM standards, and stands for securing sensors and templates.
