The dust monitor continuously measures the dust concentration in the exhaust gas on the secondary side of dust collectors and monitors changes in relative dust levels, outputting alarm contacts and analog signals in case of abnormalities. It detects the frictional static electricity of dust that comes into contact with or passes near the detection probe. It can be easily installed in existing setups and is useful for environmental measures. Additionally, it is equipped with a concentration correction function, allowing for output correction to the dust concentration obtained by JIS measurement methods by adding a correction factor to the detection signal. Changes in dust levels due to leaks or tears in bags can be monitored, and continuous concentration changes can be output at levels close to actual measured values, enabling trend management of dust collector performance to be monitored at values close to JIS measurement methods. Furthermore, it has obtained domestic explosion-proof certification, allowing for use in first and second category hazardous locations (zone 1.2). ● Maintenance consists only of regular probe cleaning. ● Achieves performance equivalent to optical types at a low cost. Measurement range can be switched across 9 ranges from 0 to 1000 mg/m³. Detects particle sizes from 0.3 μm. ● No specialized knowledge is required.
