The MU3-USB-429 and MU3-USB-1216 are USB interface boards equipped with the MU-3. They use the FTDI FT8U232BM USB-UART conversion chip. The power for the MU3-USB is supplied from the USB interface, so no external power source is required. You can choose between the 429MHz band and the 1216MHz band.
