The balls roll on the precision-machined four-row rolling surfaces of the LM rail and LM block, and the ball rows are circulated by the ball retainer and the end plate incorporated in the LM block. This is an integrated LM guide that has a similar internal structure to the proven LM guide SHS type with a ball retainer, arranged in a cross shape with the backs aligned, combining two LM rails. The SCR type allows for a perpendicular linear motion system without the need for a conventional saddle, simplifying the structure of the X-Y motion and enabling compact design.
