A radiation balance meter that achieves both high precision and affordability.
The radiation balance meter LPNET07 measures the radiation balance received on its sensing surface from near ultraviolet to far infrared. The radiation balance is defined as the difference between the radiation incident on the upper surface of the radiation balance meter and that incident on the lower surface. The upward-facing surface measures direct solar radiation, diffuse solar radiation, and long-wave radiation emitted from the sky (clouds), while the downward-facing surface measures solar radiation reflected from the ground (albedo) in addition to long-wave radiation emitted from the Earth. The LPNET07 is designed with a robust structure to be used outdoors under any weather conditions and has high reliability for long-term measurements. In addition to its use for energy balance measurements in meteorology, the LPNET07 can also be used for measuring indoor radiation temperature (ISO7726). ▼ High-precision measurement of radiation balance in the spectral range from near infrared to far infrared ▼ High sensitivity output of 10μV/(W/m²) (typical value) ▼ Robust housing design that withstands harsh environmental conditions ▼ Usable for measuring indoor radiation temperature as well as outdoor (ISO7726) ▼ Signal amplifier converter (optional) to convert microvolt output to standard signal is also available.
