Attention those troubled by the 8255 discontinuation. 32-bit general-purpose I/O interface IC.
■Integral Type Digital Filter The conventional integral filter composed of resistors and capacitors has a fixed time constant determined by the values of the components used. However, the integral type digital filter built into the PIX132 allows for the signal delay time to be freely set between 1μsec and 32msec. ■Simultaneous Latching of All Inputs and Simultaneous Setting of All Outputs With an external strobe signal, commands from the CPU, or the timing of a built-in timer's timeout, all 32 input signals can be latched simultaneously. Additionally, when all 32 output points are set, all output signals can be set simultaneously at the same timing. ■Capture of Changes in All Inputs There is a function to capture the rising or falling changes of all 32 input signals. Furthermore, it can generate an interrupt signal to the CPU whenever any of the input signals change.
