To respond to the voices of guests who want to manage lift tickets more conveniently, not just at ski resorts, Axess has developed the new AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE, which allows hands-free passage using lift tickets stored on smartphones via Bluetooth. This enables a contactless experience from purchasing lift tickets to riding the lifts, allowing visitors to enjoy skiing safely. The use of the new contactless system is quite simple. Guests can purchase lift tickets online from anywhere they like and save them in a smartphone app. Then, at the ski resort, they can pass through the gate with their smartphone still in their clothing. The lift ticket automatically connects to the gate via Bluetooth for validation, eliminating the need to take the smartphone out of their clothing or remove gloves to present it, allowing for contactless access to the lifts. There’s no need to wait in line at the lift ticket counter or worry about social distancing. The AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE promises a more convenient and safer future and will be tested in six ski areas across Europe in line with the 2020-21 season.

Moderon will be exhibiting at the Dynamics and Design Conference 2023, hosted by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. The Dynamics and Design Conference 2023 (D&D2023) will take place in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, under the overarching theme of "Let's Discuss New, Advanced, Deep, and True Dynamics." As in previous years, in addition to various themes related to organized sessions in the fields of mechanical dynamics and measurement control, the 18th Symposium on "Control of Motion and Vibration" (MoViC2023), the 7th Joint Symposium on Dynamics & Control between JSME and KSME (J-K Symposium), as well as research in joint sessions with the Transportation and Logistics Division as part of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers' inter-divisional initiatives, special lectures, networking events, equipment exhibitions, forums, and special projects are also planned.
