Maintenance frequency reduced by 92%! New Scotch Gun model 'R26T' launched.
Takubo Engineering Co., Ltd. will begin sales of the new Scotch Gun model "R26T" starting in August 2026. The R26T is the successor model to the R11T, which has been adopted in many production sites for many years. While inheriting the compact and lightweight design and excellent spray performance of the current model, it has newly adopted a special wiper seal structure (patent pending). This significantly improves the maintenance cycle from the conventional once every two weeks to once every six months. It reduces the annual maintenance frequency by approximately 92%, contributing to a reduction in maintenance labor and downtime. Additionally, the R26T has been developed as a dedicated model optimized for Takubo Engineering's painting robots, supporting stable operation of painting lines and improving productivity. We also have rental units available for pre-introduction verification. Customers considering an upgrade from the R11T are welcome to contact us.

Coating Japan Tokyo Seminar Held | Presentation on "Indium Mirror Coating"
During the 9th Paint and Coating Equipment Exhibition (Coating Japan) held from September 30 to October 2 at Makuhari Messe, Takubo Engineering Co., Ltd. will showcase the "Indium Mirror Coating System" at the Japan Coating Machinery Manufacturers Association (CEMA) booth within the Paint Pavilion. Additionally, on September 30 (Wednesday) from 16:00 to 16:45, we will hold a seminar titled "Indium Mirror Coating" presented by Ryosuke Terauchi from our Sales Engineering Department. In this presentation, we will introduce the features of "Indium Coating," a mirror-like coating film that excels in weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and radio wave permeability, as well as Takubo's unique rotational coating technology "R Technology" that enables the formation of high-quality coating films. Announcement of a metal decoration system using jet design.
The metal decoration system is based on the metal primer jet technology developed by Takubo and the product business partnership with Toshiba Machine Engineering. It offers a metal film formation function intended for automotive emblems and proposes low VOC, high value-added products using inkjet technology. This was demonstrated and exhibited at the Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. Solution Fair 2018. The inkjet decoration device applies color decoration to molded products (material PC), and a high-speed sputtering device forms functional metal films. Additionally, an inkjet primer and clear coating application device applies primer to firmly adhere the material, enhancing wear resistance and gloss through clear coating.
