Wideband Voltage Amplifier (DHPVA Series)

The 100/200MHz DHPVA is a high-frequency amplifier with variable gain.

■Even when changing the gain settings, the bandwidth (100/200MHz) remains constant, featuring excellent gain flatness, low noise, and low offset drift, making it a very high-performance amplifier. ■Since the bandwidth remains constant even with different gain settings, the rise time of the pulse hardly changes (within ±10%). ■Ideal for accurate and reliable time-resolved measurements. ■Adopts a multi-stage design, allowing for the avoidance of using multiple amplifiers that could lead to dynamic limitations.

High-Speed Gain Fixed Current Amplifier (HCA Series)

It maintains a constant bandwidth and gain up to the specified maximum capacitance value without being affected by capacitance, frequency correction, or special connections.

In many cases where high-frequency products are used, issues such as unwanted vibrations, imperfections in ground shielding, nonlinearity, gain peaking, and bandwidth reduction due to insufficient amplifier design can arise. However, Femto's current amplifiers are designed to adequately address these problems. They prevent gain peaking, vibrations, and significant bandwidth reduction regardless of the signal's source parameters or wiring, with capacitance up to 2nF. When capacitance is a few pF, the bandwidth of high-frequency current amplifiers significantly decreases; however, Femto's high-speed current amplifiers are not affected by this limitation and can handle a wide range of capacitance. For precise offset and bias control, they come equipped with two trim pots for flexible use. Input offset current correction can be adjusted over a wide range, fully maintaining dynamics even from signals with large DC components. The bias output voltage can be adjusted within -12 to +12V using this bias trim pot.

Low Frequency Voltage Amplifier (DLPVA Series)

A DC voltage amplifier with low temperature drift of offset input voltage and high accuracy.

- No adjustment of offset voltage is required even at a gain setting of 100dB, making it ideal for DC coupling. - The gain setting and amplifier bandwidth, which are very important parameters for measuring high-speed signals and pulses, are independent of each other. - The bandwidth remains constant at 100kHz with a 3dB maximum gain setting specified. - The cutoff frequency can be adjusted up to a maximum of 1kHz, which helps reduce wideband noise. - Parameters such as gain setting and bandwidth can be easily and directly operated via local switches. - The selected gain setting is indicated by an LED. - TTL bits corresponding to each switch are available for remote operation, and mixed operations are also possible. - Six different models are available, including single-ended or true differential inputs, bipolar or FET.

Wideband Voltage Amplifier (HVA Series)

Even with different gain settings, the bandwidth remains constant, making it very useful for measuring high-speed signals and pulses.

■ The output offset can be adjusted, allowing for true DC coupling, which avoids decoupling due to the oscilloscope's AC settings and suppresses measurement undershoot and baseline. ■ The minimum input noise is low at 0.9nV/Hz, enabling a high S/N ratio in small signal amplifiers. ■ It can accurately amplify pulses with varying widths from microseconds to milliseconds, such as digital codes and transients. ■ To achieve optimal S/N performance, an amplifier with sufficient bandwidth corresponding to the required signal bandwidth is necessary. ■ If the bandwidth is unnecessarily high, wideband noise increases. ■ The HVA series includes three models with different cutoff frequencies, allowing you to choose the optimal model based on measurement conditions.

Variable Gain High-Speed Gigahertz Amplifier (DUPVA Series)

Designed for high-speed and precise measurements requiring a high dynamic range.

■ Gain can be set via a local selector or optical isolator, or through a remote control interface. ■ The frequency response is independent of gain, and since the variation in rise time is small even when changing the gain setting, accurate time-resolved measurements are possible. ■ The frequency response is very flat across the entire frequency range, allowing for pulse or transient measurements without gain peaking.

Variable Gain Current Amplifier DDPCA-300

Low-noise transimpedance amplifier

■ Input noise: minimum 0.2 fA/√Hz * Peak-to-peak: 0.4 fA ■ Gain can be manually or remotely changed from 10^4 to 10^13 V/A ■ Covers a wide dynamic range of over 240 dB, capable of handling current values from sub-fA to mA ■ Compact housing allows for installation near the signal source, reducing noise from long cabling ■ Various filters are built-in to optimize the amplifier's bandwidth according to the signal state, allowing for S/N ratio and measurement speed settings based on the application ■ Even when the gain is set to maximum, it maintains sufficient measurement speed to measure femtoampere currents in real-time ■ At femtoampere levels, measurement errors and baseline shifts due to drift or offset currents are more likely to occur, but the DDPCA-300 excels in long-term stability and minimizes drift to the extreme.

Ultra-Low Noise Fixed Gain Current Amplifier LCA Series

Very low noise preamplifier module.

■ Unlike desktop amplifiers, it eliminates the deterioration of the S/N ratio caused by cable capacitance and noise pickup. ■ Signal processing and measurement after the preamplifier do not affect the S/N ratio. ■ While minimizing the narrowing of bandwidth, it achieves significantly higher gain and ultra-low noise compared to conventional current pressure converters. ■ No special connections or frequency corrections are required. ■ Hand width and frequency response are unaffected by source capacitance up to 10nF, preventing gain peaking.
