Standard black anodizing can decompose and fade when exposed to heat or prolonged ultraviolet or sunlight, causing the dye in the microscopic pores of the coating to break down. Additionally, not only does this affect the color tone, but stress caused by differences in the coefficient of linear thermal expansion between the base material and the coating can lead to cracks and coating loss, resulting in a loss of surface protection functionality.
Our 'TAF TR BK' is a heat-resistant and UV-resistant black anodized treatment that does not crack, discolor, or peel even under high temperatures of 350°C or in environments exposed to ultraviolet light.
