[Case Study] Dust Collector (Dry Type) (1)
This is an introduction to a case study that achieved effective dust collection utilizing the volume of a drum can!
We confirmed on-site how the dust generated during the operation of the dust collector behaves in relation to the plastic bag inside the drum and what factors cause problems. It was found that there was a significant amount of residual air between the inside of the drum and the plastic bag covering it, and we observed the phenomenon of air and the plastic bag being drawn toward the hopper side. To reduce the air in the gap between the drum and the plastic bag to below the internal pressure of the dust collector, we installed a vacuum piping and an adjustment valve to the drum to adjust the atmospheric pressure difference. As a result, the inner plastic gradually became closely adhered to the inside of the drum, effectively achieving dust collection capacity. [Problems] - It is unavoidable to separately install a metal cage to prevent the dust collection plastic bag from floating inside the dust collection drum. - The removal and installation of this is cumbersome. - Additionally, the workers were covered in dust. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
