Centrifugal Casting Machine "Easy Caster REZ-90"

Direct casting from CAD data/3D modeling! Shape verification is possible in a short time and at low cost!

From the CAD design phase, we have gradually shifted to manufacturing casting molds and prototypes using 3D printers, and creating designs with a keyboard and mouse has already become the new standard. I believe the demand for replacing 3D printer resins with metals will continue to increase. Yoshida Cast has developed a centrifugal casting machine called 'Easy Caster REZ-90' that takes 3D printed objects and casts low-melting-point alloys directly into rubber molds. Using this device, it is possible to quickly replace 3D printed items with metal in the same way that wax is injected into rubber molds using a wax injector. 【Features】 - By converting silver prototypes into low-melting-point alloys, the inventory burden of silver prototypes is reduced. - Producing commissioned sample products with low-melting-point alloys allows for easy and low-cost physical displays at each store. - Enables the small-batch, diverse production of original low-cost accessories. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to the casting process using block molds.

Small lot production and mass production prototypes! 3D printing metal molding solutions!

We would like to introduce the casting process using block molds. Our company provides technology and equipment for lost-wax precision casting using the block mold method (gypsum casting) to produce metal products/prototypes with more intricate shapes without the need for molds. This enables the realization of one of the best cost performances in the niche field of small-lot production and mass production prototyping. 【Casting Process (Part)】 ■1. Prototype/Master Model: Prepare the prototype ■2. Rubber Mold: Embed the prototype in silicone rubber to create a rubber mold ■3. Wax Mold: Inject melted wax into the rubber mold ■4. Wax Tree: Attach the wax mold to a wax core rod (center sprue) to create a wax tree *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

【Examples of Uses for Melting Furnaces】Metal Ingots

Production of precious metal ingots from urban mine-type industrial waste and from resale precious metal products!

We would like to introduce Yoshida Cast Industry Co., Ltd.'s "Metal Ingot." Metal is placed in a crucible and melted using induction (high-frequency induction heating). After melting, it is poured into carbon or copper molds, and if necessary, pressed in under pressure. By applying pressure during melting, we can suppress the vapor of low-melting-point trace elements, and it is also possible to create ingot molds in the desired size. 【Features】 ■ Compact size equipment that can be moved and installed ■ Custom ingot molds can be created in the desired size ■ Compatible with cooling mechanisms for molds ■ Melting can be done in an atmosphere of air, vacuum, or inert gas depending on the metal ■ In-house production and testing of metal test specimens can be achieved *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Presentation of Materials] 3D Printer × Lost Wax Casting

Introducing the block mold (solid) method for metalization at low cost and in a short time!

Since 2015, when 3D printers began to gain attention, the cost reduction of SLA methods and the application of SLS methods have led to the development of metal printers, dramatically changing the production style of prototyping. Among prototyping, there is a high demand for "metallic parts" in functional component prototypes, leading to an increase in the use of high-hardness resins as substitutes and a growing demand for metal 3D printers. This document introduces a collaborative technology of 3D printing and lost-wax casting that allows for the metalization of prototypes and samples at low cost and in a short time. The document is available for free. Please take a moment to read it. [Contents] ■ Collaborative technology of 3D printing and casting ■ Casting methods that enable metalization at low cost and in a short time ■ Secrets to low costs ■ Secrets to short delivery times ■ Metalization of 3D printed resin models *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Manufacturing Equipment Manufacturer G Company Product Development Department

Prototyping equipment cheaper than metal printers! We aimed to in-house the production of prototypes.

The Product Development Department is engaged in the daily production of prototypes. Prototypes were entirely outsourced, involving a long process from the creation of simple molds to shaping and cutting with metal, which took at least 1 to 2 months for completion. Additionally, creating molds for a single part cost several hundred thousand yen, leading to expenses every time a revision or mass production prototype was requested. Therefore, instead of using a metal printer, we utilized a 3D printer and our company's casting machine to internalize the production of prototypes. By completing prototypes in-house, we were able to reduce both lead times and costs, allowing us to work on prototypes until we were satisfied with the results. [Background] - Prototypes were outsourced, taking at least 1 to 2 months for completion. - Costs were incurred every time revisions or mass production prototypes were requested. - We considered purchasing a metal printer to internalize prototype production, but abandoned the idea due to the need for an initial investment of over 40 million yen. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

"3D Printer × Lost Wax Casting" <Material Presentation>

Using STL data, it is possible to produce metal products at low cost and in a short time. It can also mold complex shapes, contributing to the in-house production of prototypes.

Our company offers a collaborative technology that enables the production of metal prototypes at low cost and in a short time using '3D printing × lost wax casting'. By using a method called block molding (solid method) in lost wax casting, resin models created with a 3D printer can be "metalized." This method accommodates complex shapes and allows for high precision and short delivery times from STL data. If you have both a 3D printer and casting equipment, in-house production of prototypes is also possible. 【Features】 ■ Cost savings on mold materials by using rubber molds made from silicone rubber ■ Improved dimensional accuracy through the use of 3D printing ■ Relatively low-cost casting equipment allows for reduced initial costs ■ For sizes under 10×20 cm, multiple molds can be produced in about one day *Currently, we are offering materials that introduce this technology and a comparison table of casting equipment. Please check it out via "PDF Download." Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

NG shapes of die-cast ceramic shells

Products with undercut shapes can be easily demolded! Casting is possible even for products with fine gaps in their shapes!

In "die casting," product shapes with undercuts may be rejected for casting because they cannot be removed from the mold during demolding. Additionally, in "ceramic shell casting," product shapes with gaps of less than 1 cm cannot be cast because sufficient layering cannot be achieved, resulting in brittle mold strength. Therefore, with the "block mold method," the gypsum molds can be easily broken apart by striking them, allowing for the casting of product shapes with undercuts. By pouring a slurry (liquid) made of water and gypsum into the mold, it is possible to cast even intricate product shapes with fine gaps. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Sample test available: differential pressure casting device

It is suitable for casting high melting point materials that exceed the heat resistance temperature of the crucible!

We handle "differential pressure casting equipment." By driving the bottom of the mold at high speed, molten metal that has been arc melted in an Ar gas atmosphere is cast into a water-cooled mold, resulting in rapid cooling and solidification. Since there is no crucible, there are no impurities from the crucible, allowing for high-purity melting, and it is suitable for casting high melting point materials that exceed the heat resistance temperature of the crucible. 【Features】 ■ High cooling rate - Purification of bulk amorphous metals and nanocrystalline materials ■ Heat source is an arc - Heating temperature in the thousands of degrees - No crucible, resulting in purer cast samples than high-frequency methods ■ Suction source is a cylinder - Less gas entrapment and fewer casting defects *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
